These were purchased a few years ago in an antique store in Louisiana. I don't know the age of the baskets, but they look to be older. The Baskets are tightly woven and in original condition. The Base and top are a dark ebony type wood and 2 Turtles completely hand carved placed on the top of each bask. The Turtles have finely hand carved details throughout. This includes a set of 2 baskets. Larger basket measures 10" x 8 1/2" x 5" deep. Medium basket measures 6" x 4 1/2" x 3 1/2" deep.
