Fantastic Details!! Incredable Craftmanship! Entire sceanery, The Caravel Matthew, Cliffs, ALL Handcrafted by Miniature Artisan Artist Don Johnston. The bottle is 8 inches long, 2 1/2 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches wide. Miniature Caravel Matthew is 2 1/2 inches long. This miniature is Unique, and Entirely handmade with first class material by a local artist in Jacksons Point, Ontario Canada. All Miniatures by Don Johnston are numbered and workmanship is Guarenteed. THE CARAVEL MATTHEW This little vessel barely 80 foot long is a replica of JOHN CABOT'S vessel which sailed to the new world over 500 years ago, making land at Bonavista Newfoundland from Bristol England. The purpose of the voyage was to establish European settlements and trade. Almost 10 years ago the actual replica followed Cabots voyage to Newfoundland and were met by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, and on a 10 day visit to Canada Laid port in Toronto amoung other Places.
