I obtained the dolphins through my grandparents estate.  My grandfather Morris Haslett was a neighbor and friend of Paul Stankard in Mantua NJ. Mr. Stankard gave my grandfather the  lampworked dolphins as a gift to my grandmother Lillian back in the early 1970's. After obtaining the dolphins from my grandparents estate, I contacted Paul Stankard about them. He was interested in seeing them again. He was gracious enough to invite my wife and I to his studio. While at the studio Mr. Stankard signed a letter of Authenticity(INCLUDED IN THE AUCTION) that the dolphins were his original artwork. They have never been put up for sale before now. Because of financial difficulties I am forced to sell this one of a kind piece of Stankard artwork. Anyone familiar with Paul Stankards body of work, will relize how early and rare this figurine is. There are none anywhere availible for sale  untill now. Serious inquires only, because this is a museum quality piece of art work.
