c.1880 Bremond Music BoxRare Serpentine Case & Clock!This is an exquisite and elegant Swiss music box, made in Geneva c.1880, attributed to B.A. Bremond.The burled walnut case, with satinwood banding and string inlay is of an unusual and rare fully serpentine style, measuring 26" long x 12" deep x 9" high (when closed) and 18" high (open). Condition: PERFECTThe musical movement plays eight songs on a 13" cylinder. Condition: PERFECTAdding to the rarity, is a fine French clock, with a white, floral decorated porcelain face (3.5" diameter). It strikes on the hour and half-hour, and can also activate the music box to play a song each hour, if desired.
