The resin base itself is a full 3" up to the globe and is three dimensional with the buildings  looking carved. The globe is perfectly clear and has no air bubbles.  This still sends shivers down my spine when I watch it as the glitter falls and New York New York plays.  The miniature resin designs are of perfect scale as are those on the base.  Among them are the: World Trade Center Empire State Building Statue of Liberty Rockerfeller Center Atlas and the world on his shoulders Flat Iron Building Chrysler Building United Nations St. Patrick's Cathedral and so much more.
