THANK YOU FOR VISITING OUR AUCTION COTTAGE and CASTLE DESCRIPTION: * SET 9 MINIATURE PEWTER HAND PAINTED CLOWNS..ENGLAND * This auction is for a set of miniature hand painted pewter clowns made in England. If you are or know a serious clown collector you will be completely smitten by this collection of tiny clown figures at play. There are six individual pieces with a total of nine clowns. There are three pieces with two clowns each and three pieces with just one individual clown. They are cast of fine English lead-free pewter and each is individually and meticulously hand painted by artists. There are no two alike. These were produced by Warwick Miniatures in the 1980’s and are no longer in production. They were purchased for stock for a gift shop. They were never sold and have been in storage since the 1980’s, so are just like new. The pieces range in size from the sitting clown who is just a little over ½” high to the tallest piece which depicts one clown on his back holding another clown in a hand-stand position, which is approximately 1 ¼” high. These pieces are very well crafted and display fine workmanship. We will send within three business days upon receipt of money order or cashiers check. We ship in 10 days with personal check.
