These artistic creations display a rarely seen sense of craftsmanship and attention to detail that will be an inspiring addition to your home's decor or a gift of exquisite taste.      The box is approximately 4 x 4 x 2 inches and features dyed Shagreen (stingray hide) in a beautiful shade of teal. The ivory mark in the center of the lid is a bone fragment, characteristic of genuine Shagreen. The hinged lid opens to reveal an interior fully lined with felt which also covers the bottom to protect your fine furniture. The inside edges of the box are covered with a contrasting natural shell veneer.      These boxes are durable but they do need protection from dirt, excessive moisture, and direct sunlight.      Each box is a unique work of art, handcrafted of materials from nature, and therefore no two are exactly alike.
