The shadow box itself was a hard fine, it is made of wood with a gold leaf finish,  and scroll releaf design which is just beautiful .  It measures 17" across X 13" 5/8's wide x 3" thick. The back ground is done in a deep blue velvet and inside the japanese slippers as well . The contents in the shadow box are japanese slippers, dollie, pearl collar, victorian women ( made in w. Germany) brouch, gold rhinestone brouch, exquisite crystal perfume bottle, gold tassel and a crystal bead necklace, that hangs from one side of the box to the other. All the contents in the box and the box itself took a while to hunt and find these items.  It is truly stunning and not another one like it.
